Ten Ton TV Episode #2: Building E-Commerce Websites!
Didja dig Episode #1 of Ten Ton TV? With such an awesome response, I’m totally revved up to keep crankin’ out weekly episodes! This week, I answer a commenter who wants to know more about building e-commerce websites. So I lay down four options, ranging from simple, easy to implement options, right up to fully customizable web interfaces. Plus I ask the question of the day, and cant wait to discuss your answers!
@TheWebsonic: Thanks bro!!!
@TriggeRob: That is a very good point, Rob! Being able to inspect elements is huge…I’ve been using FireBug for just that. Thanks for the comment! -Geoff
should mention, if you know how to template on CMS software like joomla and Drupal, zencart is the exact same experience, google chromes inspect element and resource tracking is amazingly helpful

As for uploading images, I’m not 100% sure Zen Cart can do that (but there’s always solutions and hacks). If you want, throw me an email and we’ll discuss: geoff @ tentonbooks .c om (take out spaces)
